everlight electronics co.,ltd. everlight electronics co., ltd. http://www.ever light.com rev. 1 page: 9 of 10 devi ce no. : szdle-952-012 prepared dat e : 08-06-2004 prepared by : ai hua hong 95-21uyc/s530-xx/xx precautions for use 1. over-current-proof custom er m u st apply resistors f o r protection , otherwise slight voltage shif t will cause big current change ( burn out will happen ). 2. storage 2.1 do not open m o isture proof bag before the products are ready to use. 2.2 before opening the package, the leds should be kept at 30 or less and 90%rh or less. 2.3 the leds should be used within a year. 2.4 after opening the package, the leds should be kept at 30 or less and 70%rh or less. 2.5 the leds should be used within 168 hours (7 days) after opening the package. 2.6 if the m o isture absorbent m a terial (silica gel) has faded away or the leds have exceeded the storage tim e, baking treatm e nt should be perform e d using the following conditions. baking treatm e nt : 60 5 for 24 hours. 3. soldering condition 3.1 pb-free solder tem p erature profile 3.2 reflow soldering should not be done m o re than two tim es. 3.3 w h en soldering, do not put stress on the leds during heating. 3.4 after soldering, do not warp the circuit board. 4. soldering iron each term inal is to go to the tip of soldering iron tem p erature less than 280 for 3 seconds within once in less than the soldering iron capacity 25w . leave two seconds and m o re intervals, and do soldering of each term inal. be careful because the da m a ge of the product is often started at the tim e of the hand solder.
